BACKCOUNTRY SKI TOURING PROGRAM

The itinerary ski-touring below is subject to change according to the skiers’ requests. Apart from what is described below, we can make a combination of the program from 4-10 days not just in Kosovo but also in Albania and Montenegro.

SKIING IN SHARRI MOUNTAINS

DAY 1-2
Arrive in Kosovo and explore the city of Prizren

Our ski tour begins early in Prizren where we meet our guides and fellow skiers at the hotel. After a warm welcome and brief orientation, we drive towards Prevalla (1550m) where we stay 2-3 nights. We accommodate at a lodge and get ready for the first ski trip in Prevalla resort. Beginners will start on a flat area of land next to the lodge where it’s safe to get a feel for the skis and the basic techniques. More experienced groups will head out into the local area, just to get our ski legs back.

All meals included.

DAY 3-4
Back-country skiing around Brezovica

With easy access to the back-country skiing trails around Brezovica, just a 20min drive from Prevalla, you can choose which trail to follow depending on your ski ability and local weather conditions for leisurely independent exploration. There are many ski trails to follow in Brezovica: Piribreg summit 2524m, Guri i Zi 2536m, and other off-piste trails in the area.

All meals included.

SKIING IN BJESHKET E NEMUNA

DAY 5-8
Enjoy back-country skiing in wild terrain with no humans

We drive towards Deçan city and ski up to the Gacaferi hut where we stay a few nights. This is totally wild ski terrain with no infrastructure, cars, people, and not even a signal & internet. We spend a few days skiing in the area of three border points where we could perhaps ski in 3 countries: Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro. We sleep in a guesthouse up in the mountains at 1850m alt.

All meals included.
